Collision coverage pays for damage to your vehicle that results from a collision with another vehicle or object. Generally, the coverage reimburses you the amount needed to repair or replace your damaged vehicle, minus the deductible. The collision coverage combined with the comprehensive coverage is often referred to as full coverage.

This coverage is not required by the State of Arizona but normally required by your financing company if your vehicle is leased or if you have an outstanding loan on the vehicle.
